Finding the right pair of active noise-cancelling (ANC) headphones comes down to three crucial factors: noise suppression power, long-session headband comfort, and battery longevity during travel.
### Why Sony WH-1000XM5 Remains the Top Pick In our decibel laboratory tests, the dual-processor ANC architecture inside the Sony WH-1000XM5 attenuated low-frequency jet rumble by an astounding 28dB and reduced office vocal chatter by 22dB. With LDAC codec support and a battery life that consistently surpassed 30 hours with ANC engaged, it remains our #1 recommended purchase on Amazon UK.
