Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way. Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR, websites need your consent before using anything that is not strictly necessary.

The public pages of BigDropUK do not set any cookies and do not use local storage. We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking or social-media pixels, so there is nothing to accept or decline.

The only cookie our site sets is a strictly necessary session cookie (admin_session) that is used by our own site administrators after they sign in to the private admin area. Visitors never receive it.

• Amazon. When you click a product link you leave BigDropUK and arrive on Amazon.co.uk. Amazon sets its own cookies, including ones that record that you came from our link so a qualifying purchase can be credited to us. Amazon controls these under its own cookie notice.
• Image servers. Product pictures load from Amazon's image servers and, for some products, from the open product database we credit on the product page. These requests do not normally set cookies, but the host can see your IP address.
• Pinterest. If you follow a link from one of our Pins, Pinterest's own cookie policy applies on Pinterest.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking Amazon's cookies may affect how our commission is credited but will not change the price you pay. See aboutcookies.org for guidance.

If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we will show a consent choice first, only set them if you agree, and update this page.
